Hunt one of the most well managed ranches in the state of Texas. Located 75 miles northwest of Austin along the Colorado River in San Saba County, Texas. This 11,600 acre ranch is situated in the Heart of Texas' best deer habitat. It contains a large population of top quality bucks, hogs, turkeys and Catalina goats. Barnes Keith Ranch has 11 miles of Colorado River Frontage, along with mountains, canyons and open flats which provide archers many different opportunities to harvest their Pope & Young buck.

 

We are setup to accommodate all bow hunters. Excellent hunting is available from a number of different stand types, from the comfort of a ladder stand situated in a hundred year live oak to tripods backed into a thick brushy hill side or a enclosed ground blind in a huge mesquite flat. There are 2000 acres enclosed by an 8ft game fence which several exotic species and a number of trophy whitetails. There are also 8,000 acres that is fenced on three sides and open for 11 miles bordering the Colorado River, which makes the bucks qualify for Pope & Young. Wildlife Biologists have been involved in the deer herd management since 1983 with a goal of producing an exceptional quality deer herd of 1:1 ratio. The deer are provided with over 70 custom built free©choice feeders allowing them to eat as much protein as they need, whenever they need it. We also offer Spring Turkey, Red Stag, Axis, Blackbuck and Catalina Goat hunts. Our exotic hunts are bow or rifle hunts.
